Meet the geneticist Dr. Paul
Dr. Apostolos “Paul” Psychogios is an experienced board-certified medical geneticist physician and the founder of Genome1st. After Dr. Paul completed his medical studies in the University of Athens, Greece, he was trained in internal medicine and cardiology, and practiced at HCI Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland.
He then emigrated to US and completed the American Board Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMG) clinical genetics residency at Columbia University in New York, and the clinical molecular genetics fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
He practiced in many prestigious institutions including Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He served as the medical director of Genetics at Kentucky Children’s Hospital and Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Paul currently practices medical genetics and genomics at Providence Health in Los Angeles and Orange, CA.
